STAND UP WITH SIREN ON MAY DAY/¡PONTE DE PIE CON SIREN EN EL PRIMERO DE MAYO!
/Today is May Day around the world. For many, it signifies a day to commemorate the long struggle for worker’s rights. Here in the United States, it has more recently become associated with the fight for immigrant and refugee rights. It’s an important day to stand up and celebrate the role that immigrant workers play in the economy, especially where SIREN works in Northern and Central California.
Now more than ever, especially with the Trump Administration waging war on immigrants and workers alike, we need a day to celebrate the people bearing the brunt of this war. SIREN invites you to do just that through the two May Day marches we’re supporting - in San Jose or on Facebook and Mountain View.
Come join SIREN and our grassroots leaders and youth to stand up for the rights of workers and immigrants. And if you would like to help make sure SIREN is able to continue speaking out, and supporting the important leaders who lead our work, please consider making a donation.

¡PONTE DE PIE CON SIREN EN EL PRIMERO DE MAYO!
Hoy celebramos el Primero de Mayo en todo el mundo. Para muchos, significa un día para conmemorar la larga lucha por los derechos de los trabajadores. Aquí en los Estados Unidos, se ha asociado más recientemente con la lucha por los derechos de los inmigrantes y los refugiados. Es un día importante para ponerse de pie y celebrar el papel que desempeñan los trabajadores inmigrantes en la economía, especialmente donde SIREN trabaja en el Norte y el Centro de California.
Ahora más que nunca, especialmente con la administración Trump librando una guerra contra inmigrantes y trabajadores por igual, necesitamos un día para celebrar a las personas que soportan la peor parte de esta guerra. SIREN lo invita a hacer eso a través de las dos marchas del Primero de Mayo que estamos apoyando.
